God's Universe
God's Universe
“See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.”
Song of Songs 2:11-12
The above scripture is one of the most beautiful scriptures I have found in the Bible, as it is such a calming and soothing scripture, and one that we all should be able to relate to. Just looking at the majesty of the earth around us we can see the magnificence of God’s creation. Just looking at the beauty of the trees, the flowers, the birds, the beautiful sky we can see the world that God created for us. God created our world and all the things in it and it was supposed to be our Garden of Eden. He has built it to be beautiful and provide everything that man would ever need to sustain himself. I am in love with nature, as I have found nature to be an impetus to remind me to breathe and relax and to think about God. I can see God all around me when I look outside. God gave man the beauty of nature as a means of relaxation. So often when we feel stress building in our lives we can take a short walk and view God’s world, and we will be relieved of our stress. Each of us should take the time to go outside to enjoy the sunshine. Take a walk and enjoy the trees, the flowers, the birds, and the sky, and think about God and the beauty he has surrounded us with. Do something each day to appreciate the divine gift of nature. You will find that you can become closer to God when you begin to appreciate nature, and see what he has created for us. It can, and will have a great impact on your mental well-being. God created nature especially for us, and we need to see and feel the presence of God when we look upon his wonderful creations.
