God Is With You

God Is With You “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 Throughout your life you are going to find yourself in situations that are difficult and demanding. It can be easy to become discouraged and terrified during these times, and wonder if God is really paying attention, or has forgotten you. God however tells you that He is there with you always, and will comfort and protect you. He will never let you bear more than you can stand. Sometimes your friends, spouses, and parents don’t really understand what you are going through, but God knows and He cares. As He told Joshua in the above scripture, He will be with you where ever you go, and in whatever you do. He will give you directions to follow throughout your life to lead you on the right path and make your life worth living. Isaiah 26:7 “The path of the righteous is level; O upright one, you make the way of the righteous smooth.” God tells you that when you obey His commands and ask Him into your heart, He will take away your cares, and will bear your difficulties and burdens. There is nothing that God doesn’t know or can’t do for you. He is there with you every hour and moment of the day. The next time you face a difficult decision in your life ask God to take charge of the situation, and give you guidance and wisdom to deal with it. You will be amazed as when you begin to trust God for everything, the peace and assurance you will have in handling the situations you will face. There is nothing too small or too large for God to handle in your life. It is only when you put your complete trust and faith in letting God take control of your life, that you will have the peace and joy that He promises. It is only then that you will be prepared to fulfill the plans that He has in store for you. Robert W.
