God, Heal Our Land "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2nd Chronicles 7:14 I am concerned about where our great nation is headed, and what the future might hold. Perhaps no nation other than Israel, has known the incredible blessings of God like the United States. In just 233 years, this nation has become the most powerful and prosperous nation in the history of the world. It is the hand of God that allows nations to rise, and to fall. God allowed this nation to rise up from nothing. He poured out His richest blessings on our country. Sadly, we have squandered those blessings, misappropriated them, and now we are in danger of becoming a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah. There are several key factors that has brought our nation to this time of God's judgment. One is the Federal Government legalizing the killing of innocent babies. In the 30 years since abortion was legalized, there have been over 40 million babies killed, approximately 1.3 million each year, around 4,000 every single day. Another, is the bold, unrepentant, unashamed, gross sexual perversion that exists in our nation today. From those who choose homosexuality, to the epidemic of sexual activity outside of marriage, to the ever increasing numbers of men and women who commit adultery, to the unrestricted pornography industry, to those who proudly engage in every type of sexual perversion that man has ever dreamed of. Another is that we have taken God out of our schools, as we are not allowed to have our teachers pray or even mention God to their students. I would encourage you to pray for our nation like never before, as it is time to return to Godly values, and ask God to forgive us and heal our land, before it is too late. Robert W.
