A Sin Free Life

A Sin Free Life "To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure." Titus 1:15 Today, I want each of you to think about the kind of life you are living, and whether it is the kind of life God wants you to live? God wants you to live a sin free life, and the Bible tells us the penalty of sin is death. When we try to compromise the truth of God's word, we are left with nothing. Many pastors and churches have quit preaching about sin, for fear of offending people, and unfortunately have turned into little more than a social gathering, and a place to be entertained on Sunday's. I am afraid that this is true not only in the church today, but it is true in the lives of many people as well. There is no such thing as a little sin, as sin by its very definition is rebellion against God. You will either obey God or you don't, as there is no middle ground. You are either living in accordance with His Word, or you are living in rebellion to His Word, and there is no room for compromise. I believe that the problems that many people face today, is due to the fact that they chose to compromise God's word, and don't understand that their way doesn't work, but God's way does. Whenever we choose to compromise the truth of God's Word, there is always a price to pay. Satan will always give you great reasons why it is ok to compromise in certain situations or circumstances, but remember that Jesus tells us in John Chapter 10 that "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life." Think about getting rid of the sin in your life today, and don't let the enemy deceive you into compromising God's Word. Follow God's way, as that is where you will find the truth, and where you can find the greatest gift you will ever receive, God's gift of an eternal life.
