Your New Day

"I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips."
Psalm 34:1

Do you wake up each morning praising God, and expecting His goodness in your life? You know that you can set the tone for your day, by waking up each morning and thanking God for all his blessings, and praising Him. The pressures, problems, trials and struggles you faced yesterday are gone forever, as today is a new day, and a day that you can make a change in your life. There may be trials and troubles that you will face in the hours ahead, but if you ask God to be with you, these will not defeat you, as you will face them with the certainty that God is with you, and with Him by your side, you will be comforted and given the wisdom and knowledge to deal with them. There will be people you will face today that will be negative, complaining, and discouraging, but don't let their spirit rub off on you. You can choose to bless the Lord at all times, let His praise continually be in your mind. Just remember that in this new day, the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn shining brighter and brighter until the day is done. Start this new day by speaking words of faith and expecting God's favor to be on you. When you get in the presence of God each morning you are opening the door for Him to do amazing things in your life. When you are faithful to God in all things, you set the tone to receive His favor, grace and mercy all during your day. Make this the day that you make a change in your life, and let God enter into each decision, help you face your struggles, lead and guide you in the right paths, and make your future secure. You can change your life today, and become the person that God wants you to be. Sing His praises, let Him be in your thoughts at all times and your life will be changed.
