God Is Waiting

God Is Waiting "Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them." Hebrews 7:25 This message today is for those who may have lost their enthusiasm for God, and need to restore their relationship with Him. Let me ask you this simple question. Is your relationship with God where it needs to be? Have you slowly gotten away from the time you asked Jesus into your heart, when you made Him first in your life, but now find yourself drawn to the ways of the world, and don't have the daily relationship with God that you used to have. If you find your relationship to God not where it used to be or what it needs to be, you cannot blame others. You can’t blame your preacher, your teacher, your church, your parents, your spouse, your job, bad luck, your personality or any other thing if you’re not as close to God as you used to be. The blame lies with you. The first step to dealing with the discouragement or dissatisfaction you’re experiencing is to be honest about the past and what you’ve lost. The truth is that you are not what you ought to be, where you need to be, and not doing what you need to be doing. Whether or not you can be honest with yourself and God is up to you. The reason you have distanced yourself from God is that you have allowed Satan back into your life. It is easy to let Satan and sin invade your life, as he is always there to tempt you and draw you back into his fold. However, God has not given up on you, and is patiently waiting for you to return. You are His prodigal son and He will welcome you back with open arms. But you have to make the choice, as no one can make it for you. I would encourage you today to take the time to again make God first in your life, by praying, asking for His forgiveness, and begin reading daily His Holy word, and make Him first again. Robert W.
