You Cannot HIde

You Cannot Hide “They say, ‘How can God know?’ Does the Most High have knowledge? Psalm 73:11 The things we think we do in secret and behind closed doors are not hidden from the eyes of God. All of us have ghosts in our closet—those secret things that we think no one else know about but us or maybe our wife or husband. They may be things that we may be ashamed of, or things that might embarrass us or cause someone else harm. Many times it is difficult to keep these hidden as there are all kinds of records that are available that reveal so much about each of us. I can recall many instances over the years where these ghosts suddenly appeared in many of my employee’s lives and were made public, by someone finding a record of a past event that brought the event to the public eye. When we think that what we do in our private life stays private, and only we know the real truth, this is such a misconception, as there is someone who knows all about us and our private life, and that is God. The actual fact is that everything we do is being observed and recorded. Even when Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden and hid from God, he found them and asked Adam why he was hiding and knew he was naked. Adam’s response was a lie as he placed the blame on Eve, which was the beginning of man’s scheme to cover up their sins and their wickedness, and has been perpetuated throughout the future generations. God has continued to record all those things that man thinks they are doing in secret. All the sins of man such as lies, thievery, sexual immorality, lust, bribery and even murder is being recorded each day by our Father in heaven. 1st Corinthians 4:5 “He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.” Robert W. Brock My Daily Devotional Volume Seven March 4
