God's Plan Revealed
God's Plan Revealed
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:19-21
I was reminded of this scripture this morning, while reading the accounts of a homeless man, whose story was in our local newspaper. His family had moved around from place to place during his childhood, and had very little, mostly depending on charitable organizations to take care of them. He was now in his mid 30's, and had continued to follow the lifestyle that his family had followed. However, there was one thing different that he had discovered, and that was that he had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He had purchased a small house, and was opening it up to all the other homeless people in the area, and teaching them about God, and had started a ministry to provide for their needs. He had experienced homelessness himself, and God had moved in his heart and led him to this calling. God had shown him how he had taken care of him all during his life, in all the deplorable situations he was under, and was now showing him how he could be productive and render services back to his community. We are all not born with a silver spoon in our mouth, however God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and when His time is right His plan will be fulfilled. You may feel that you have not been dealt a good hand in life, but God knew what you have faced, and He has also taken care of you during your bad times. However, now is the time for your transformation to begin, as your life can be changed, and you can become the person God wants you to be. Let God lead and guide you today to fulfill His plan for you.
