Be Prepared

Be Prepared "But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light." John 3:21 There are not many people that are not familiar with how our justice system works. Many may have been in a court room at one time in their lives, or have seen others that have been. When we face the judge we have to be prepared and have a plan, or the results could be devastating. Anyone who has accepted Jesus into their hearts as their Lord and Savior, has a plan, as God has provided this through all His commandments. We only have to say "Yes Lord", thank you for giving me your plan for my life. Then we have to be obedient and follow God's plan. God gives us the ten commandments as our main goal, but it's not just the ten commandments, that we must follow. We must read and study the rest of God's Holy word as it contains the plan for us to follow in all aspects of our life. When we accept God's gift of salvation, we must search for the answers to all of life's other situations. Just as in our court rooms, the judge will say, "there is no such thing as ignorance to the law," and we cannot claim that we did not know about all that God requires of us. I want all of you to realize that someday you are going to stand before God and be judged on your obedience to God's laws, and you cannot say, Lord, I did not know about this." When you accepted Jesus into your heart, you agreed to make him first in all that you do, this means that you are to read your Bible, pray, and seek His wisdom. You fellowship with Him daily, and let Him speak to you through the Holy Spirit that now lives within you. You let Him lead and guide you to do all the right things. You get rid of all sin in your life. The time is coming when you will be judged, don't be found ignorant, but be prepared. My Daily Devotional Volume Six July 29 Robert William Brock, Jr.
