Be God's Spokesman

Be God’s Spokesman

“If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless words, you will be my spokesman.”
Jeremiah 15:19

Could you imagine being God’s spokesman, and going in front of a host of television cameras, and telling the world what God told you to say. Just this morning, I saw the spokesman for our President give a news conference, which was so disorganized and confusing, that made me think about the scripture above. His words were worthless and not worthy of representing our president. When we look at the story of Moses, we see the scripture above coming to life. Moses was a man who had repented, and had been restored, and had given his life to serve God. He was God’s spokesman to the people of Israel, and even though he suffered from a speech problem, he represented God through his words, and got the message out clearly. God gives each of you this same opportunity, as if you repent of your sins, and ask forgiveness, God will also restore you, and you can then be His spokesman. Everywhere you go, and in all things that you do, you will, and can represent God. When you commit your life to follow God, and obey His commands, you can be the light to people you meet every day, and God will use you to further His kingdom. But the beginning to this journey starts with you being willing to repent of your sins, and ask for your forgiveness. When you make this easy step, and devote your life to serving God, just think of the wisdom and knowledge that God will then share with you, as then you will be His spokesman. Your life will never be the same, and you will be changed to become just as Moses was, a real spokesperson of God.
