Is Your Home Blessed

Is Your Home Blessed “The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.” Proverbs 3:33 If God is present in the home the house will be blessed, but if God is not present in the home the house will be cursed. God provides the guidance throughout the Bible, for the mother and father to use to teach their children. He gives us all the instruction and guidance we will ever need, to live a successful and Godly life, and set the example for our children to follow. Proverbs 22:6 “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” When we turn our lives over to God, and begin to do His will, He will let great things happen. Doors will begin to be opened, and His blessing will begin to flow in our lives. We will have the peace and joy that He promises. He will give us guidance, and we will have peace in all the things that we do, as we will be living our lives following His commands and doing His will. Psalm 37:23-24 “If the Lord delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.” By trusting in God and obeying His commands for your life He gives you the promise that he will watch over you, and help you with the decisions you will make today, and every day of your life. In His Word He gives you the way you are to live your life each day, and how you are to love and respect your fellow man. By following His commands and obeying His will, He will show you the way and make your steps firm. Although you may stumble from time to time in your daily life, God will not confront you with obstacles and burdens you cannot bear. If you live your life in a way that is pleasing to Him, He promises to watch over you, and protect you from harm, and will let you prosper. Robert W. Brock My Daily Devotional Volume Six November 2
