Believe In Yourself And God
Believe In Yourself And God
"Thus you will walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous."
Proverbs 2:20
In life you can't go back and start a new beginning, but you can start today and create a new ending. One of the biggest tools at your disposal to create that new ending are your words, and how and when you choose to use them. To start a new beginning, you need to believe in yourself, but better still you need to believe in God, who will enable you to become the best you can be, if you develop the relationship with God that He desires. The great boxer Cassius Clay, better known as Mohammed Ali, began to say that he was the greatest long before he became one of the best boxers the world has ever known. He spoke what he believed in his heart day after day. Yes, it took years and much effort, but eventually his words and confession aligned themselves and became a reality. It is not about arrogantly telling everyone how great you are, it is simply about reminding yourself of who you know you are, and what you will become one day, even if the circumstances have not yet aligned themselves to the reality of your confession. Words are the invisible rudder that your heart uses to guide your life, and if you have God walking with you day after day, and have your goals aligned with His goals, you can succeed in all things. Your words, your desires, and your expectations about what you want to accomplish in life are free, but can be very costly if not used properly. Next time you are thinking of saying something remember to think twice before you speak, as your words and their influence will either plant the seeds of success or failure in your life. Starting a new beginning is easy if you ask Jesus into your heart, as all your sins and past will be forgiven. Don't stay in the past, but make God first in your life, and you will have success, like you have never known.
