Do You Have Faith

Do You Have Faith "Jesus turned and saw her. Take Heart, daughter, he said, your faith has healed you. And the woman was healed from that moment." Matthew 9:22 Today, I want you to think about what faith means to you. In your Bible you find many examples of what faith means. Peter walked on the water, because of his faith. David fought with Goliath and achieved victory, because of his faith. Joshua brought down the wall of Jericho, because of his faith. Many were healed just by touching the hem of the garments of Jesus, because of their faith. "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1. You can't see faith with your natural eyes, but you have to have faith that it exists. To have faith means that you act and live like it is true. Having faith goes beyond logical proof. Faith goes beyond what you can see, and even beyond what you can think. Faith requires you to walk with God, as faith keeps your dreams alive, gives you hope for your future, and faith keeps your expectations achievable. When we look at the life of Enoch we can see that he was taken from this life and did not experience death, because He walked with God, and had faith in Him. Enoch pleased God, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists." Hebrews 11:6. My friends, you cannot see God, but you need to have faith that He exists, just like the scripture above say. You must have faith that there is a God, that sent His son Jesus to die for your sins, because one day you are going to die, and if you don't have faith you will be put into the grave with no hope for a future. But, if you have faith in God, the grave will not hold you, as your eternity will be guaranteed, by the grace of God. I encourage you to ask Jesus into your heart today and have faith for your eternal life. Robert W. Brock My Daily Devotional Volume Seven December 20
