God Will Meet You

God Will Meet You "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19 One of the truths I have learned over the past decade or so, is that God wants us to be confident and trust Him, that He will answer every true petition we make. The Bible tells us, "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." John 15:7. This does not mean that God is going to give you a blank check when you pray, nor will He give you everything you want, as He is not going to answer your prayers when you pray for foolish things. However, if you get closer to Him, and establish a true relationship with Him, your desires will be closer to His desires, and His will closer to your will, and you will begin to see Him meet you, and grant your requests. You must understand that God wants you to be successful in life, and be at peace. He wants you to experience the fruits of the Spirit that the Bible talks about, but He wants you to get to know Him better. You can get to know God better by reading His Word, and praying to Him daily. When you make God number one in your daily life, He will begin to act in your life, and give you His peace and His comfort in all that you do. You may still have trials and troubles, as He does not tell you that these will all disappear, but as you go through these, you will have the peace and comfort to get you through these times. If you are going through tough times in your life today, don't turn away from Him, but draw closer to Him, and lean on Him to help you. Trust in Him, and have the faith and confidence that He will hear your prayers. The Bible promises, "No good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless." Psalm 84:11.
