Is Your Future Secure "Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom." Psalm 45:6 Every time we turn on the television, all the intellectuals are talking about what the future holds for our world and society today. Will our future be brighter or darker, as the treats of a nuclear disaster still looms on the horizon as a possibility? The Bible tells us that our future is in the hands of God, "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10 No one knows, except God, what the future holds for us, as even the greatest minds on earth cannot predict what will even happen tomorrow, much less next week or in the years ahead. However, God tells you that you can determine your own future, by making a choice between two different ways you can live your life. One path will lead to the most terrible future you could ever imagine, as you can choose to spend all your eternity with Satan, cast into the fiery furnace of Hell, which has no end. However, the second path you can travel will lead you to the most incredible future you could ever hope for, one which gives you an eternal home in Heaven with God. So your future is in your hands, as Jesus is leaving your future up to you. The only deciding factor which will determine your future depends upon whether you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, as this is the only thing that will separate you from these two possible futures. Your future boils down to you having to make one simple decision, but this decision takes all the guesswork out of it, sets it in concrete and makes it permanent.
