Your Hope Is Real

Your Hope Is Real "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 Each day as I am doing our mail route, I pass several small churches that have signs in front of them, and many of their messages are eye catching. This week I saw these words written on a sign at one of these small churches. It said, "Hope Is Real", and the more I thought about it, I realized that for many people hope is not real, as they do not know Jesus as their savior. I believe that one of the most important gifts we can give to another person, is the gift of hope. People who do not know Jesus usually are hopeless and alone, and when problems arise in their lives, most cannot get themselves out of their situations. They have no hope, and most feel that they have been abandoned, and don't know where to turn. As Christians, it is our responsibility to come alongside them, and bring the good news of Jesus Christ, and all that He has to offer. We must let them know that their hope is real, as when we bring hope to them, we can bring them hope and a new life, a new life in Christ. It is a life changing experience, when we can lead someone to Jesus, and accept Him in their hearts. I believe one of the biggest problem we have in the world today, is that there are so many people who have lost hope. There seems to be so many problems, sickness, financial issues, job issues, relationship issues, and many others, in people's lives that they seem to have lost their hope. If you are feeling that there is no hope in your situation, I want to let you know that there is hope. You may not be able to see or feel the hope, but it is there for you, and can be found in only one place, and that is in Jesus Christ. Your hope is real, when you accept Jesus.
