Pray For Our World
"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know."
Jeremiah 33:3
As I have developed in my own spiritual walk with God, I have wondered why some Christians experience great and mighty things in their lives, while others do not. The answer lies in the basic fact that some Christians do call on God to help them, while others do not. There are scriptures all throughout our Bibles that tell us that when we call out to God, He really hears us. In scriptures like the one above God gives us reinforcement, that when we call to Him, He hears us, but also that He will answer us. When we call out to God for help in any of the struggles of life, He answers us, and in His Holy Word will give us His wisdom as to how we are to deal with any issue we will face. Every Christian that claims to have a relationship with God needs to call out to Him for problems with their family, their jobs, their health, and any other problems that they face, and God will hear them and give them wisdom. God will also hear us as we pray for our nation, that He will give our leaders wisdom, and will tell them "great and unsearchable things they do not know." If we all cried out to God and ask Him to heal our great nation from its sinful ways, and give us wisdom to correct the things that we are doing wrong, God would hear our cries and answer us. I feel that if God heard the cries from all Christians that He would look at us with compassion and have mercy on us. I pray that God will give each of us a heart for our world, so we can look beyond our own circumstances, and pray that God will tell us great and unsearchable things that can change our world.
