Commit All Your Plans To God

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."
Proverbs 16:3

Over the years I have known people who have made lofty plans for their future, and then work tirelessly during their lives, to make these plans come to fruition. They plan every detail of what they need to do to turn their plans into realities. But just as they see the finish line, everything falls apart; suddenly they find their lives are in shambles, and their lofty plans are never realized. This can happen so easily when God is not part of any plan, as He has established His plan for each of us, and if our plans don't mesh with what He has in store for us, it doesn't matter how hard we work, our plans will never succeed. This is why it is so important for everyone to commit to the Lord whatever you do, and then let God take control and make His plan succeed. You see, God can make anything happen, and any plan succeed, if it is His plan. We must always remember that our time is not God's time, but many times we can become impatient, and not wait for God's timing. The finish line that we see ahead of us, may not be the real finish line, as God may not be ready to let us finish the race. It could be only the beginning, as God may have bigger plans for us. When we commit and turn our lives over to God, only He knows what He has in store for us. There may be many twists and turns that we never planned for, but all of these are building blocks, that are preparing us for the real plan God has in store for us. I would encourage each of you to embrace the scripture above, turn your plans over to God and, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed."
