It's Not Too Late

It's Not Too Late

"The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed."
Romans 13:11

As I view the world we live in today, which is in moral decay, I see the coming of the Lord, to not be far away. Things are happening in our society, that indicate that our nation is turning from God, at an alarming rate. This is seen by the facts that the holy institution of marriage is falling apart, as over half of the marriages now end in divorce. We are aborting over 1.2 million babies each year. Prayer and even the mention of God is being taken out of our schools, and in all public places throughout our nation. In other words, our nation is turning their backs on God, in any way they can. This is much like the world had done prior to the time of Noah, when God destroyed all the living on the earth and started anew. We know that God told us that He would not destroy the earth again by a great flood, but tells us that He will come again. This time to take His people, the ones that still believe, to live with Him in Heaven. We do not know the time God will return, but through all indications He gives us in the scriptures, this time is not far away. His prophesies are being fulfilled as we speak. I would encourage each of you to think about your life, and see if you are ready for God's return. Are you ready to stand in front of God and be judged? Would God look upon you with favor, or would He find you unworthy for Heaven? This is not something you need to take lightly, as all your eternity depends upon how God will judge you. It is not too late to ask God for His salvation, and to forgive you for all your sins, and ask Jesus to be your savior. It's not too late.
