God's Gift

God's Gift

"Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon."
Isaiah 55:7

Our society today, is based on wealth and material possessions and money. Everything has a price tag, and people spend all their life and time working and striving to buy as much as they can, and to fulfill their wants and desires, which is never enough. The main focus of their lives is to accumulate as much material possessions as they can afford, which they hope will give them peace and joy, and make them feel fulfilled. However, we so often miss all the free things in life, and take them for granted. There is no price tag on the air that we breathe, the clouds in the sky, the stars at night, the rain, the rainbows, the trees, the grass, the lakes and oceans, the animals, the birds and all the other wonderful creations that God has given us. All of these are free, and is God's gift, without any payment or money required. But God's most precious, and greatest free gift to all of us is His gift of our salvation, and the one that He wants us to have the most. However, many find this gift hard to accept. Why would this be, as it was freely given, and God wants so much for us to receive this gift, that He was willing to even sacrifice His son so we could have it. We don't have to do anything to accept this gift, as it doesn't cost us anything, all we have to do is say "God, I want this gift." Even the angels in heaven will shout for joy and sing praises if you will accept this free gift from God, and you will never be the same again. Accept God's free gift today and He will even throw in a bonus gift of an eternal life.
