Claim Your Victory

"Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes."
Ephesians 6:11

You need to realize that you can't withstand the attacks of the devil, if you haven't put on the full armor of God. In Ephesians 6 we read that there are at least seven pieces of armor that we need to withstand Satan's schemes, and we need all of them. These pieces of armor are offensive weapons that we should use, as we need to be on the offense, and not wait for Satan to attack. We need to be prepared, and not wait for him to make the first move. We must do the things that God commands, as this is the way that we can defeat Satan. When we are doing the will of God, we aren't allowing Satan to get a foothold into our lives, and giving him the opportunity to tempt us to do evil. The Bible gives us the battle plan to defeat Satan, by putting on the full armor of God, and being prepared. It tells us to be on the offensive, and move forward with God as your captain. We are to stand as the conqueror, and with God's help we can defeat any attack that will come our way. Everywhere you go in life you will find evil, that will be tempting you. You will find this in your workplace, your school, your neighborhood, all throughout your daily life. You will be tempted by Satan in your thoughts, by the actions of others around you to do evil, and disobey God's commands. Don't fall prey to the temptations, but remember that God is with you, and has given you all the armor you need to withstand any attack that comes your way. Make God first in your daily life, and He will give you all you need to live a life that will be pleasing to Him, and be victorious.
