Keep Your Peace

Keep Your Peace

"For when I am weak, then I am strong."
2nd Corinthians 12:10

There are few days that Satan will not try to rob you of your peace, as things will go wrong, when you least expect it. The drive to your job, could produce anger when someone cuts you off in traffic, and blows their horn at you. The waitress at the local coffee shop could spill coffee on your new suit, or a fellow employee could blame you for her mistake in sending out a wrong invoice. There are numerous ways that Satan will attack you with small, and even large issues, that will try to take away your peace. Having peace in your life about all things is important, as it affects the way you treat others. If you enter your work place complaining and upset about what happened on your way to work, they will know that you are not at peace with yourself, and this will rub off on them. No matter what you do, things are going to come up that can destroy your peace if you let them. This is why it is so important to begin your day by spending a few minutes with God, praying and asking Him to watch over you. These few moments will enable you to prepare yourself for these attacks by Satan, and not let your emotions get out of hand. It is so easy to want to retaliate when anyone does us harm, or irritates us by their rash behavior, but this is where you need to remain calm, and not let their bad behavior ruin your day. Keeping your composure and peace during the attacks by Satan is like driving a nail in his coffin, as he wants to distract you and get your focus off God. Be aware of these attacks before you leave home each day, and take God with you, as Satan is no match for the power of God. Keep your peace.
